The first year of Marajáles on Gréta is behind us

We are looking back with joy on the first year of Marajáles on Gréta, which brought a pleasant atmosphere, good mood and many shared experiences. Throughout the event, the Gréta resort area was transformed into a lively place of meetings, music, creativity and relaxation, where everyone found something for themselves - from families with children to lovers of crafts and nature.

We would like to thank all the visitors, performers, competitors and partners who were there with us and helped create an event that we will remember for a long time. A big thank you also goes to everyone who took care of the organization, the program and the smooth running of the entire day. Without you, Marajáles would not have such a unique atmosphere.

The program also included carving wooden sculptures dedicated to forgotten crafts. During the event, visitors could watch the work of the carvers directly on site and see how a piece of wood is gradually transformed into a work of art. Every detail was created by experienced craftsmen, who put not only skill, but also stories and the legacy of traditional crafts into their sculptures.

These sculptures will not just be decoration – they will become part of a nature trail and cycle route around Gréta. Each stop will commemorate one of the crafts that once shaped life in the region, while also offering visitors the opportunity to slow down, reflect, and learn more about the history of this region.

The first of the sculptures has already traveled to its installation site at the hardening site near the Gréta resort. The transport and installation itself were a bit of an experience - judge for yourself.

We will gradually install other works and create a route that will remind visitors of traditional crafts, the lives of our ancestors, and the cultural heritage of the region.

However, Marajáles does not end with the first year. We are already looking forward to its continuation next year, when more wooden sculptures will be created during the event. Each subsequent year will bring new crafts, new stories and new stops, thanks to which the educational trail will gradually expand and come to life.
