Gréta Resort is not just a hotel resort. It is a place that was created by a family, is built by a family and lovingly cares for other families who come to us to relax, spend time together and create memories. The family nature of our resort is not a marketing phrase - it is an everyday reality that we live from morning to night.

We as a family are actively involved in the running of the resort. I work here, my brother – the co-owner – is involved in the company's activities, his wife works here, my sister-in-law, our children help, the older daughter works with us, the younger one works part-time, you will meet our niece at the reception and we could go on and on. That is why we know how important it is for a family to stick together, have clear rules, mutual respect and a common goal. When a family works properly, it makes sense – and this feeling is naturally transmitted to our guests.

A family that understands guest families

Family works for family here. And perhaps that is why we have a closer, warmer and more personal approach to our family guests. We are able to look at their needs with different eyes – not as a service provider, but as someone who understands what a family vacation really means.

We also greatly appreciate our employees, who have become family friends for us. We are all aware that families who come to us do not make decisions lightly. At home, they consider where they will go on vacation, where they will invest their hard-earned money – whether in relaxation, entertainment, sports or time together. The fact that they chose us is not a coincidence. And at the same time, it is a great commitment and responsibility for us to take care of them as we would take care of our own family.

Comfort for children and four-legged pets

We think of every member of the family – from the smallest to the four-legged ones. Family pets are welcome here. Dogs and cats have water bowls, blankets, shampoos and, of course, understanding from the staff.

Children are at home with us. For the little ones, we have outdoor swings, climbing frames, a playground, bicycles for rent, balls, sports games and physical activities. In the summer, they can enjoy outdoor activities, and in the winter, programs adapted to colder weather. If the weather is unpredictable, we can also arrange indoor activities and small family events so that families are never bored with us.

Nature, space and freedom for family relaxation

The resort's exterior is a natural extension of a family vacation. There is a spacious meadow at your disposal, which we purposefully mow to make it ideal for picnics, games with children or peaceful lounging on blankets. If the water level allows, there is also access to the water, where guests can swim, sunbathe or just relax by the shore with a view of the surrounding nature.

Families have our blankets, deck chairs at their disposal and can create their own little holiday rhythm - no rush, no obligations, exactly how they imagine a family vacation.

Shared moments that unite

Inside the hotel there is a large common room with a fireplace, which is a place for meetings, conversations and shared moments. Families spend their evenings here playing board games, talking or just relaxing in silence. We have a wide selection of board games for different age categories.

For maximum comfort, we have also added lounge chairs - we have up to fifteen of them - so that everyone can find their own place to read, chill, or just relax with a view of the mountains or the dam.

A family vacation with everything that goes with it

A family vacation would not be complete without a barbecue and a barbecue grill. There are smaller grills near the cottages, there is also a large central barbecue area and a gazebo with a fireplace with barbecue grills. We provide wood for barbecue free of charge, we can offer charcoal for a purchase price. It is no problem to ask for barbecue grill, bacon or vegetables in the kitchen and enjoy evenings by the fire as befits a family vacation.

Our goal is to provide everything that an ideal family vacation should include. If guests have something extra in mind and it is within our power, we are happy to accommodate them. We see every suggestion as a challenge to improve and create stays that guests love to return to.
